An excursion is being planned for Saturday, July 12. We thought that we might go to the Scott family seat (so to speak), e.g., the town of Brechin, to see the cathedral where Alice & Robert were married and the cemetery where Scott ancestors are buried, to Robert Scott’s family farm, Balwyllo on the road to Montrose, to Thomas Scott’s Scottish home, Auchenreoch in Inchbar, and  to Edzell castle with its most unusual feature, the walled garden, or “Pleasaunce”.
